Money Credit Guide is a free publication that explains how credit cards work and what they cost, for people with fair or less-than-perfect credit.

What we do

We explain how credit cards work, what they cost and how they affect your credit score, in plain English. Our newsletter shares the same kind of tips, and some issues include card offers from our partners.

What we don't do

We're not a bank, a lender or a financial advisor. We don't take credit applications, make credit decisions or see your credit file. Our guides are general education, not advice for your situation. If you apply for a card, the card issuer decides, on its own terms.

How we make money

We're paid by advertisers. When you click an offer in one of our emails or on our pages, and sometimes when you're approved, we may earn a fee. That's how the guides and newsletter stay free. Read our advertiser disclosure for the details.
